About the town A postcard perfect town, Leura village exudes an air of quaint sophistication. Antique shops, cafes and restaurants frame the main street and provide the perfect outlet for a lazy afternoon.

Leura is renowned for it's beautiful gardens, the most spectacular of which are opened to the public in spring as part of the Leura Garden Festival. The Festival attracts ten's of thousands of visitors each year and donates a great deal of money to charity. Everglades Gardens is operated by the national trust and is an inexpensive view of nature at its finest. Superbly kept and maintained, it is a major attraction for "the Garden city".

Probably more suited to those who prefer lookouts and lunches as opposed to walks, Leura has everything you need to fill your stomach and your camera however you please. With spectacular uninterrupted views across Valleys, Mountains and forests, many people don’t make it past Leura once they stop. It is close to Katoomba and joined by the scenic drive which provides you with views and memories from the convenience of your car.
