With a golf course, aquatic centre, walking tracks and spacious parks, there are opportunities for the sport inclined to lose themselves and expend some energy. Those to the contrary can choose from infinite takeaway outlets and enjoy a quick lunch in the park and recharge the batteries. Alternatively, the Springwood library has the advantage of being linked to Braemar Gallery and its archeological treasures. There aren't too many better places to do a bit of research and experience it at the same time.
Moments away from Sir Henry Parkes' Grave and the Norman Lindsay Gallery in Faulconbridge, Springwood is a convenient commercial base to visit these great attractions at the lower end of the mountain. Its relatively large population has lead to all modern infrastructure being of a high quality. Police stations, railways, an RTA, schools and much more make Springwood a busy town, but as already stated, it hasn't forgotten the needs to unwind and escape in true Blue Mountains style.
