Prime Minister's trees at the corridor of oaks
About the town The home of Sir Henry Parkes for so many years, his grave is now a frequently visited spot in the mountains. Sir Henry Parkes was the long standing premier of N.S.W and known as "the father of federation". His dignity and class remains embedded in Faulconbridge, and his support for natural beautification and appreciation is there for all to see in today's society.

Featuring the Prime Ministers Trees (pictured below) and parks and groves of a similarly picturesque nature, a brief stop-and-look at Faulconbridge often turns into a stay-and-love. These trees in the corridor of oaks, have been planted by every Prime Minister in Australia and together are a formidable yet inviting setting for a short walk or picnic.

Norman Lindsay’s Gallery is in Faulconbridge and his artistic talent is both admired and also reflected here. A Gallery of fine art in his name and featuring his work is a major attraction in the Blue Mountains. The Town is situated around the Great Western Highway which makes access to all aspects of Faulconbridge quite simplistic. Only 25 minutes below Katoomba, Faulconbridge gives visitors the feeling that they are really in the mountains.
