About the town Woodford is a pretty little town that sits on either side of the great western highway as it ascends from lower to upper mountains. The views off the Great western highway to the North are simply stunning. Bulls Camp is off the Highway east bound and is a grassy picnic spot where travellers can stop off for rest and relaxing.

Linden observatory is ran by the Linden Observatory Trust for public usage. Clear skies in the Blue Mountains facilitates such pursuits and day or night viewings are available. The walks around Woodford and Linden are diverse and interesting. Trails that lead all the way to Glenbrook (popular for bike riders), are contrasted to Murphys Glen, which is amidst the tall turpentines and blue gums.

Not widely known, but with plenty to fill your time and allow you to experience the Blue Mountains in a way that most people don't.
