On Katoomba's escarpment,historic self-contained elegance (4 bedrooms) in the grounds of Cloudlands. Beautiful timber features, open fire, themed bedrooms. Private access to Prince Henry Cliff Walk through our rambling old garden. Easy access to both Leura and katoomba. Walk to quality restaurants with views, luxurious health club, the Three Sisters and galleries. Catch the trolley bus at Honeymoon Lookout, just nearby, to go further! Interesting books/publications to discover and read in this former writer's retreat.
Perfect accommodation for small group get-togethers: family celebrations, reunions, birthdays, wedding groups, executive retreats, womens R & R, groups seeking nature-based activities, yoga weekends.
Attention to detail is our trademark! Fresh flowers are featured throughout the Retreat, our crips linen is hand-finished, luxurious alpaca wool quilts and hand-assembled natural toiletries grace the beds.
Enjoy a LINGERING BREAKFAST every day of your stay with the generous gourmet self-catering local products we provide - some organic. Have a sunset picnic on our ESCARPMENT VERANDAH (main house) or an exquisite catered meal within the Retreat itself. Pamper yourself with an in-house massage - we'll provide details!

CLOUDLANDS This atmospheric, romantic mountain lodge has beautiful timber features throughout and is set in over an acre of old terraced escarpment garden, which leads down to Prince Henry Cliff Walk. Cloudlands is built for comfort and combines the quiet and calm of the mountains with all the comforts of today.

LOUNGE ROOM Our beautiful oak-panelled lounge room with unusual beamed ceiling, conjures up another era, when life was a bit slower and there was time to sit by the open fire reading a good book or just conversing with family and friends over tea/coffee and home-baked treats. Lift up the lounge room windows in Springtime and you’ll smell the lilac and magnolia blossoms.

GARDENS At the back of the property is the garden courtyard (with lazy steamer chairs) and then winding steps leading you down, down into our beautiful garden with secret corners to explore. Perhaps you’ll find a spot for quiet contemplation, or be tempted to wander down further, further, onto Prince Henry Cliff Walk for invigorating bushwalks and breathtaking views from the many lookouts.
VERANDAH You may choose to wander over to the escarpment verandah, for a spot of Tai Chi/Yoga, sunset picnic or exquisite catered meal during your stay. This verandah is also ideal for small group celebrations such as re-affirming wedding vows, baby namings, birthdays and other intimate gatherings.
CLOUDLANDS WEDDING
| Cloudlands is fabulous wedding accommodation - particularly for family of the bride and groom - or the bridesmaids. The Retreat's 4 bedrooms are spacious and romantic, with the whole property enveloped by over an acre of old-world escarpment garden, ideal for photo opportunities. The back verandah on the main house of Cloudlands has magnificent escarpment views for that really special snap. This verandah is also suited to intimate celebrations of around 20 people, and is available at no additional charge, provided the Retreat (guest accommodation) is fully-booked by your group. |
SOLITARY RESTAURANT
 | Why not have your wedding service/reception close by at highly-acclaimed Solitary Restaurant, just a few minutes' further around the escarpment from Cloudlands? Solitary takes wedding groups of up to 55 people. |
