The Falls Mountain Retreat is the Blue Mountains newest luxury hideaway.

We set out to create a special experience when desiging our rooms. We wanted to create rooms that were spacious and yet at the same time warm & welcoming. We wanted to create a feel that reflected the ambience of both The Blue Mountains & our historic building. At the same time, we wanted to ensure a crisp & fresh feel as in our experience all too often, the rooms in historic hotels felt musty and just plain old with the historic excuse for small spaces and old wall & ceiling surfaces.

We think we have been successful in creating the right balance between the needs and expectations of a traveller in the 21st century whilst still retaining a "Sense of place" & atmosphere reminiscent of the era of this grand property.

Our bedrooms have lovely high ceilings, most with decorative cornices and are thoughtfully furnished with solid recycled Australian Timber furniture. The smallest bed you will find is a queen with many rooms equipped with King size beds.

Our most afforable rooms come with either King or Queen size beds.

Some weekends may only be booked as a package. A minimum 2 night stay applies on weekends during peak periods ( 3 nights over long weekends )

Check-In time is from 2pm ( 3pm for cottages )

A deposit of one nights accommodation, or 50% of your booking value ( whichever is greater ) is required to secure each room booked

If you live in Australia we can accept deposit payment by cheque, money order, direct credit or credit card ( if you have a fax machine ). If you are booking from outside Australia we need to be able to fax you a confirmation, alternatively you can use EFT to credit our account directly

If you need to cancel or change your booking dates we need 7 days notice to be able to refund your deposit. A $30 accounting charge applies to all refunds.

Rates are valid from 1 July 2002 to 30 June 2004 .
